Freightos has introduced the Freightos Enterprise platform, the industry’s first end-to-end freight procurement solution. Designed for importers, exporters, and freight forwarders, the platform connects every stage of the freight procurement journey from sourcing and rate benchmarking to booking shipments and tracking deliveries.

Modules

The platform brings together three major modules: Procure Module: This tool streamlines the tendering process by automating requests for quotes (RFQs), managing tenders, and optimizing freight contracts. Freightos claims this can reduce the time spent on procurement activities by as much as 90%, while also improving communication with logistics providers. This feature leverages technology from Freightos’ recent acquisition of Shipsta.

Rate, Book & Manage Module: Users can access real-time freight rates, book shipments, and monitor their cargo, all through digital links to carriers and service providers and Terminal Module: By combining live freight market insights with benchmarking tools, this module helps businesses make better-informed procurement decisions. It draws data from multinational companies and integrates the Freightos Baltic Index (FBX) and Freightos Air Index (FAX) to provide a clear view of air and ocean freight trends.

Zvi Schreiber, CEO of Freightos, highlighted the challenges faced by modern logistics teams, pointing out that many still rely heavily on spreadsheets, emails, and disjointed systems. This fragmentation, he explained, drives up costs and reduces the reliability of supply chains at a time when flexibility and resilience are essential. The Enterprise platform is intended to solve this by offering a cohesive digital experience that mirrors how logistics professionals work in reality.

The timing of the launch is critical, as market disruptions such as tariffs continue to affect global trade. In a recent survey conducted by Freightos, over half of small U.S. importers said they expect a significant drop in import volumes due to tariffs, while a third reported pausing shipments or switching suppliers.

Companies using Freightos Enterprise have already reported significant benefits, including a 20% reduction in freight costs, an 80% drop in email communications related to quoting and booking, smoother communication with logistics providers, and full supply chain visibility from contract negotiation to cargo delivery.
