Blume Global, a subsidiary of WiseTech Global, has introduced Blume Global Appointment Scheduling, a digital solution crafted for ocean terminal operators to enhance the efficiency of container movement and streamline truck appointment scheduling. The platform also supports round-the-clock digital payment for terminal-related fees.

Unified interface

This system provides a unified interface that connects stakeholders such as shippers, logistics service providers, customs brokers, trucking companies, and drivers—offering tools to book, adjust, and oversee appointments for container pick-up and delivery. It also delivers real-time status updates and supports secure online payments, improving transparency and collaboration across the supply chain.

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), recognized as the largest independent terminal operator globally, is the first to adopt this new solution. The platform has been integrated into ICTSI Subic, allowing the terminal to optimize gate operations, reduce waiting times, and manage growing cargo volumes more effectively.

By linking directly with terminal operating systems (TOS), the platform ensures that all appointment data is updated in real time. This connectivity minimizes manual errors, enhances planning accuracy, and facilitates better flow of vehicles and containers in and out of the terminal.

ICTSI’s CIO, Brian Hibbert, highlighted that the company’s digital transformation is focused on delivering seamless, consistent services across its network, with a strong emphasis on platform-based innovation. “Our digital tools are built for scale and customer simplicity,” he noted.

Mike Journeycake, Commercial Lead for Ocean Carrier Products at Blume Global, explained that the platform was shaped with ICTSI’s operational needs in mind. “We aimed to resolve longstanding inefficiencies through a data-driven, scalable solution that benefits every stakeholder in the port logistics ecosystem,” he said.
