Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Kenya Limited has acquired a five-acre parcel of land in Mombasa, marking a key step in enhancing its logistics and transport operations in Kenya.

Improved logistics solutions
Kenya, particularly through Nairobi and the Port of Mombasa, serves as a critical hub for East and Central African trade, making AGL Kenya a pivotal player in the region’s logistics and transportation network. The new property will support expanded storage capacity, improved logistics solutions, and seamless trade across the region.
Jason Reynard, AGL’s Regional Managing Director for East Africa, emphasized the acquisition as a pivotal part of the company’s growth strategy. He highlighted that the new logistics hub would feature modern warehousing, advanced cargo handling facilities, and a focus on sustainability, aligning with AGL’s commitment to environmentally responsible practices. Reynard also noted the project’s potential to bolster local economic development, create jobs, and enhance Kenya’s position in global supply chains.
The initiative underscores AGL’s dedication to improving supply chain efficiency across Africa while reinforcing its long-term commitment to Kenya’s logistics infrastructure. This move is expected to address evolving market needs and support Kenya’s role as a key transit point in the continent’s trade routes.
“Sustainability will be central to the development, aligning with AGL’s commitment to environmentally responsible operations,” he added.
