Dube TradePort has completed Iziko@Dube, a seven-storey mixed-use commercial building located within the King Shaka International Airport precinct.
Scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2025, the development will accommodate one of KwaZulu-Natal’s leading business process outsourcing (BPO) service providers, alongside a variety of staff support facilities, such as training rooms, a 24-hour corporate cafeteria, the Durban Aerotropolis visitors’ centre, and new meeting spaces.
Mission
According to Dube TradePort CEO Hamish Erskine, the project reinforces the company’s mission to position Dube City as a premier destination for both domestic and international enterprises. “Iziko@Dube is a testament to our vision of fostering economic development, creating jobs, and cultivating a vibrant business ecosystem. We look forward to welcoming new businesses that will contribute to the region’s growth,” he said.
In its first year, the anchor tenant will occupy six floors, bringing in 350 employees, with plans to expand to 1,800 once the building is fully occupied. The top floor will offer premium meeting and conference facilities, making it a prime venue for workshops and corporate events. Designed with a cosmopolitan architectural style, the building reflects the province’s diverse culture and promotes an inclusive community spirit.
