Emirates SkyCargo has signed a strategic service quality agreement with Kuehne+Nagel, reinforcing a shared focus on transparency, reliability, and operational excellence in global air logistics. The deal outlines specific performance benchmarks, including the critical “notify for delivery” (NFD) milestone, which confirms timely shipment arrival and consignee notification.
Quality programme
This agreement aligns closely with Kuehne+Nagel’s 2024 quality programme, in which Emirates plays a key role, and supports broader efforts through Cargo iQ to enhance quality standards in the logistics industry. Both companies are committed to using data-driven insights to monitor service delivery and continuously improve processes across the supply chain.
Thomas Reichmann, Kuehne+Nagel’s Global Air Logistics Carrier & Procurement Manager, highlighted that the agreement formalizes a partnership already rooted in customer focus and performance transparency. He noted that by setting clear expectations and goals, the collaboration will generate measurable value for global clients.
Emirates SkyCargo, an IATA Cargo iQ member since 2018, maintains a strong track record in operational performance. From January to April 2025, it achieved a 96% score across over 90% of monitored shipments, ranking among the top performers out of 30 airlines tracked by Cargo iQ.
Moaza Al Falahi, Vice President of Cargo Customer Affairs at Emirates SkyCargo, emphasized the airline’s customer-first philosophy and its commitment to dependable, responsive service. She credited the company’s robust performance management system for enabling fast, informed decisions to maintain consistently high service levels.
