Envirotainer has invested in Swiss Airtainer as a step forward in Envirotainer’s sustainability strategy. Under the agreement, Envirotainer a global leader in secure cold chain solutions for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, gains exclusive global rights to add the Swiss Airtainer an innovator in lightweight container technology, to its product lineup, while Swiss Airtainer will use the partnership to scale up production and accelerate its R&D programs.
With the pharmaceutical sector under increasing pressure to lower its environmental impact, the company continues to focus on technologies that combine operational reliability with reduced climate impact.
Sustainable innovation

The Swiss Airtainer is currently the lightest active RKN container available and is equipped with solar panels for self-sustaining power, as well as real-time communication features that enhance supply chain efficiency and cut emissions. Its design complements Envirotainer’s existing eco-focused product portfolio, including the recently launched Releye family.
