Logidoo, a Senegal-based logistics and cross-border trade platform, has unveiled a major expansion initiative with the creation of a new trade corridor linking Belgium to West Africa through Morocco. This development enhances the company’s existing Casablanca–Dakar route, forming an integrated logistics link connecting Europe, North Africa, and West Africa.
Founded in 2020 by Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, Logidoo has established a comprehensive logistics platform that serves both formal and informal sectors. Its services span the full logistics spectrum—covering transportation, warehousing, cash handling, and last-mile delivery—with a strong focus on operational efficiency and wide market access.
Growth strategy
Active in Senegal, Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Tunisia, Logidoo has significantly impacted Africa’s logistics landscape. The company has partnered with over 3,000 logistics providers, completed 100,000+ operations, and supported more than 400 clients, including SMEs and large distributors.
Following a $1.5 million funding round in 2023, Logidoo accelerated its growth plans by launching Afridoo, a digital platform aimed at empowering African merchants to sell online and access regional and global markets with greater ease.
Now, through a strategic alliance with a leading Belgian logistics firm, Logidoo is rolling out a regular cargo consolidation service to link Belgium with Morocco and multiple West African nations. The service is geared towards European manufacturers and e-commerce businesses seeking streamlined entry into African markets.
“Our new Belgium–Casablanca–Dakar route highlights Morocco’s role as a central logistics hub for Europe-to-Africa trade,” said CEO Tamsir Ousmane Traoré.
This corridor is poised to strengthen Europe-Africa trade ties and reinforce Logidoo’s role as a driver of intra-African and intercontinental commerce, addressing critical logistical challenges and enabling smoother cross-border trade across the continent.
