Softlink Academy, the training arm of logistics tech leader Softlink Global, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Globelink WW India to jointly develop a skilled logistics workforce across India, the Middle East, and Africa.

This strategic collaboration aims to address the sector’s acute talent shortage by integrating Softlink’s technology-driven training with Globelink’s extensive operational presence. The partnership will provide hands-on, ERP-based training through Softlink’s Logi-Sys platform, ensuring that learners gain practical, job-ready skills in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and related logistics services.

Learning programs

Under the agreement, Softlink Academy will deliver certified professionals to Globelink WW India through its LogiLEARN and LogiSKILL programs, which cover key areas such as shipment handling, documentation, and customs clearance.

“This collaboration is not just about training; it’s about transforming raw potential into operational professionals who can contribute from day one,” said Amit Maheshwari, Founder and CEO of Softlink Global. M. P. Nair, Deputy General Manager HR at Globelink WW India, echoed this sentiment, stating, “We are pleased to partner with Softlink Academy to help develop industry-ready logistics professionals.”

Softlink Global supports over 10,000 organizations in more than 50 countries with its logistics technology solutions, while Globelink WW India operates in 26 locations across the country as part of a global network spanning 100 offices in 30 countries.
