talabat mart, the grocery and retail arm of talabat Egypt and part of the region’s leading online ordering platform, has officially inaugurated the largest distribution centre in the Middle East and North Africa’s quick commerce (Q-commerce) sector.
Situated within the YANMU East Logistics Park along the Cairo–Suez Road, the state-of-the-art facility spans 22,405 square metres and is EDGE-certified for its environmental standards. Developed in partnership with Hassan Allam Utilities, A.P. Moller Capital, and Agility, the centre is part of a broader vision to establish modern and sustainable logistics infrastructure across Egypt and the wider region.
Features
Designed with cutting-edge technology, the centre integrates smart solutions to maximise operational efficiency. Key features include product picking towers, radio shuttle systems for automated storage and retrieval, and selective racking systems to optimise space. With a capacity to handle up to 1.6 million items daily or over 48 million items monthly the facility is positioned to support over 60 dark stores by the end of 2025, in response to rising market demand.

With this launch, talabat mart reinforces its leadership in the Q-commerce space and sets a benchmark for efficient, scalable, and sustainable operations across the MENA region.
