The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) has officially unveiled its Three-Year Business Strategic Plan for the period 2025/26 to 2027/28. The presentation took place at the Ministry of Information, Communication, and Information Technology headquarters in Mtumba, Dodoma, and was chaired by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Mohammed Khamis Abdulla.
The strategic plan, presented by TTCL Director General Moremi Marwa, outlines a transformative agenda aimed at improving the quality of life for Tanzanians through the provision of reliable, modern, and inclusive digital communication services. The plan also underscores TTCL’s role in promoting digital inclusion both within Tanzania and across borders.
Vision
Marwa highlighted that the corporation’s overarching vision is to evolve into a self-sustaining and efficient national telecom operator, capable of generating long-term value and dividends for the Government. He emphasized that the strategy aligns with broader national development goals and positions TTCL as a key driver of socio-economic progress.
“This plan sets the stage for a bold transformation of TTCL, ensuring that we remain aligned with global technological advancements while expanding access to affordable and high-quality communication services for all Tanzanians,” said Marwa.
The plan is expected to guide TTCL’s operations over the next three years, focusing on innovation, operational efficiency, infrastructure expansion, and service affordability to enhance connectivity and bridge the digital divide across the country.
