A major step toward transforming Egypt’s digital landscape is set to take place on the 26th of May with the launch of the 5G Egypt Forum, an initiative led by Moharram & Partners (M&P). This high-level event serves as a strategic platform for collaboration between government entities, private sector leaders, and international stakeholders aiming to shape the future of telecommunications in Egypt.
Organized with support from the U.S. Embassy, the European Union Delegation, and the embassies of Finland, Sweden, and Japan, the forum reflects Egypt’s readiness to roll out 5G services on a national scale. Dr. Amr Talaat, Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, will open the forum, joined by ambassadors and senior officials from the sponsoring nations. His remarks will underscore the country’s commitment to building a robust and secure digital infrastructure aligned with Egypt Vision 2030.

Global tech firms including Nokia, IBM, Rakuten Symphony, Cisco, Vodafone, Techritory Systems, and Benya will participate in panel sessions and workshops, contributing insights on global best practices and localized strategies.
