Logidoo, a leading African logistics platform, has launched a strategic China-West Africa trade corridor aimed at streamlining and accelerating trade between the two regions.

This initiative follows Logidoo’s participation in the C-START program and partnerships with Chinese companies, formalized in August 2024. Initially, the corridor will focus on Senegal, with plans to expand to countries like Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, and Guinea, leveraging Logidoo’s established network.

The new trade corridor will significantly cut shipping times compared to traditional sea routes, addressing long-standing logistical challenges between China and West Africa. Offering end-to-end freight management services for shipments of various sizes, the corridor features streamlined customs processes and simplified logistics handling. This initiative is in line with Logidoo’s mission to facilitate intra-African and international trade and reinforce its goal of becoming Africa’s logistics leader.

Logidoo’s use of advanced logistics technology, including Afridoo’s Transport and Warehouse Management Systems (TMS and WMS), will enhance service quality. CEO Tamsir Traore Ousmane highlighted the corridor’s potential to drive economic growth and international trade, stating, “By reducing shipping times and simplifying logistics, we’re opening new doors for businesses and fostering economic development.”
